I re-watched sections of season 2 recently and was struck by a little continuity point in the episode The Other 48 Days.
Ana Lucia finds a knife on the person of one of the Others killed during the raid on the Tailies' beach camp. Later, just before Goodwin is killed, the two of them discuss the knife. Ana says the knife is unusual: army made and old. She says it's a bit of a rarity.
Now, post Jughead, the knife's origins seem obvious. Since the show has recently put some effort into addressing points of continuity that are really byproducts of the show's development and writing process, (like why young Ben didn't recognize Sayid as an adult) I just thought this was a worthwhile moment of continuity done well.

Nice catch on that! I think we will be seeing a lot more of these now that we are in Dharma Days.
